These Terms & Conditions apply when you create an account or use Kingaroy Rides.
Bookings and scheduled rides
Bookings are subject to driver availability, the Kingaroy Rides service area, road conditions, emergencies and circumstances outside the reasonable control of Kingaroy Rides.
A booking is not guaranteed until it has been accepted and confirmed. Passengers should provide accurate pickup and destination details and be ready at the confirmed pickup location.
Fares and payments
The fare shown for a booking applies unless the passenger requests a material change to the pickup, destination, route or journey.
Available payment methods may include a saved card or Tap in Car. Where payment is required before a trip starts, the trip will not commence until payment has been successfully received or confirmed. Card payments are processed using Stripe.
Cancellations and no-shows
Please cancel through the app as early as possible when plans change. A booking may be treated as a no-show if the passenger cannot be located or contacted after the driver arrives.
Passenger safety and behaviour
Passengers must wear seatbelts, comply with applicable Queensland road and safety laws, follow lawful safety directions and behave respectfully.
Smoking, vaping, illegal drugs, threatening behaviour, harassment and deliberate vehicle damage are not permitted. The driver may refuse or end a trip where continuing would be unsafe or unlawful.
Child restraints
Queensland child restraint laws apply. A parent, guardian or carer is responsible for ensuring any child travelling with them uses an approved restraint where legally required.
Service availability
Kingaroy Rides may refuse, cancel or end a booking where providing the service would be unsafe, unlawful, outside the service area, affected by circumstances beyond reasonable control, or where these Terms are seriously breached.
Account use
You are responsible for providing accurate account and booking information and for keeping your account credentials secure. Kingaroy Rides may restrict or deactivate an account where the service is misused or fraudulent or unlawful activity is suspected.
Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Kingaroy Rides Privacy Policy.
